She went away to Maine for college where she earned a degree in Biology and Religious Studies, but returned home after graduation to be near family.
She began working as a veterinary technician in 2014 at a mixed small animal practice, but has always been a self-proclaimed cat person. After working at a cat only hospital downtown, Allison couldn’t imagine leaving the world of healthcare catered specifically to cats’ unique needs. She joined the Cat Hospital of Media at the start of this year, and is very excited to be a new member of the amazing team here! She is currently studying as a post-baccalaureate student at the University of Pennsylvania to prepare for veterinary school in the future.
When not working or studying, Allison enjoys traveling, rock climbing, watching Disney movies, spending time with her nephews, and of course enjoying the company of her two cats, Bigelow and Earl Grey.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/mk_page_section]
