Christine Bohn Kirnos, VMD, CVA
Owner / Medical Director / Cat Friendly Veterinarian
Dr. Kirnos was born and raised in Delaware County, PA. She received her undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Widener University. After a brief career in Reinsurance, she decided to go back to school and become a veterinarian. She graduated from The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002.
Dr. Kirnos has worked exclusively in cat only hospitals since 2003. She always believed cats were special and needed a team dedicated to their unique needs. She also devoted a large portion of her time training 4th year veterinary students through externships at her hospital. Her goal was making sure every cat got the care they deserved and needed.
Dr. Kirnos is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Pennsylvanian Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, Veterinary Information Network, the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, and serves on the Board of Referring Veterinarians for the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She loves to stay abreast of current treatments through continuing education. She has spoken on a variety of feline topics to veterinary students at Penn as well as at veterinary meetings.
Dr. Kirnos, her husband, Paul, their two children and three cats live in Media, PA. They are active within the community and take pride in supporting local businesses. Besides spending time with her family, Dr. Kirnos enjoys traveling, reading, spending time outdoors, wine and eating good food! “Media is my home, and I hope to continue to give back to the community. I love walking through the Borough and running into clients and friends.”
