Nadia

Nadia was born and raised in New Jersey, and came to Philadelphia for school in 2016. She graduated from Temple University with a major in biology and a minor in classical studies. She started her college career wanting to focus on ancient Greek literature, but volunteering in animal shelters and working in veterinary clinics in 2017 year made her change her mind. In the middle of her junior year, Nadia changed her major to biology so she could have a better understanding of veterinary medicine.

Nadia started her veterinary technician career in a small private practice that worked closely with local animal rescues. She also worked in veterinary ERs, which showed her the importance of feline-only medicine. Wanting to expand her knowledge on feline medicine, Nadia joined The Cat Hospital of Media in February 2024.

She now lives in the Roxborough/Manayunk area in Philadelphia with her cat, Mary Jane. When she isn’t working, Nadia enjoys reading and traveling.
